In Paris for an Once Upon a Time convention, Bailee Madison took part in several panels over the weekend. It was a chance for fans of the actress to ask her about her other projects and find out if she will be back in the sequel to The Wizards of Waverly Place. Let’s find out.

After a successful run on Disney Channel from 2007 to 2012, Wizards of Waverly Place will return to the small screen from 29 October 2024. More than ten years after the final episode of the series, fans of the Russo family will be reunited with Justin (David Henrie), now grown up and powerless.

While the eldest sibling will be one of the stars of the sequel, he won’t be the only character from the original series to make an appearance in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place. It has already been confirmed that Selena Gomez and David DeLuise will also make guest appearances, reprising their roles as Alex and Jerry Russo. But will other actors from the original series return? That’s what fans of Bailee Madison wanted to know when she took to the stage at the From Storybrooke to Paris convention.

Bailee Madison, best known for playing the character of Maxine Russo, the female version of Max (Jake T. Austin) after he was turned into a girl by Alex and Justin, began by showing her support for the new series: “I’m so excited for all of them and I can’t wait to watch and support it.” She then revealed that she was not scheduled to appear in Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, but left the door open to a future appearance, either for a new role or if Max decides to become a girl again: “I would go again so happily. It would be a lovely thing to get to experience in my adult life now.”
