What would happen if tech disrupts morality and traditional Thai customs? This is the question posed by Netflix in its press release unveiling the trailer for Tomorrow and I, and the question that its new Black Mirror-esque anthology series will have to answer from 4 December 2024.
In its first season, Tomorrow and I, created by Paween Purijitpanya, will tackle a variety of topics over the course of its 4 episodes, as the director confirms in a statement released by the streaming platform: “Each topic — cloning, prostitution, Buddhism, and the global warming crisis — thought-provoking and philosophical themes. With an anthology format, we can explore and question each issue more deeply. It’s like giving audiences the experience of watching four different movies.”
Violette Wautier, who will star in the Paradistopia episode, hopes that “each episode prompts the audience to reflect on what the best answer is for each situation. This exploration could lead us to broader perspectives, even beyond what unfolds in the series.”
