While fans of Maxton Hall will have to wait until the end of 2025 to discover the new adventures of Ruby and James, fans of The Summer I Turned Pretty will have to wait less time to see those of Belly (Lola Tung), Conrad (Christopher Briney) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno).
As revealed by Prime Video, the third and final season of the adaptation of Jenny Han‘s work will be available to subscribers of the streaming platform in July 2025. This news is sure to please fans of the literary adaptation, which has become a veritable phenomenon since its launch in 2022.
The final season of The Summer I Turned Pretty will follow Belly, Conrad and Jeremiah as they face the consequences of the choices they made when they were younger. As a reminder, the story of We’ll Always Have Summer, the final volume in Jenny Han’s trilogy on which Season 3 will be based, is as follows: “Belly has only ever been in love with two boys, both with the last name Fisher. And after being with Jeremiah for the last two years, she’s almost positive he is her soul mate. Almost. While Conrad has not gotten over the mistake of letting Belly go, Jeremiah has always known that Belly is the girl for him. So when Belly and Jeremiah decide to make things forever, Conrad realizes that it’s now or never—tell Belly he loves her, or lose her for good. Belly will have to confront her feelings for Jeremiah and Conrad and face the inevitable: She will have to break one of their hearts.”
Will this final 11-episode season, directed by Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka, who are already working on Season 2, be a faithful adaptation of the ultimate novel? Find out in July on Prime Video.
