As expected, the CW has decided to adapt to the current health situation and has postponed the official release of its new schedule until January 2021. For this fall, the American channel will offer a combination of newly acquired programs (Swamp Thing, Coroner, Dead Pixels and Tell Me A Story), delayed series (The Outpost, Pandora) and reality TV shows. The CW will also be airing the last seven episodes of the final season of Supernatural this fall.

In January 2021, viewers will see the return of All American, Black Lightning, The Flash, Riverdale, Nancy Drew, Legacies, Batwoman and Charmed. Two new titles will also be released at that time. We’ re talking about Superman & Lois, the new series of the Arrowverse and Walker, a reboot of Walker, Texas Ranger featuring Jared Padalecki in the title role.

The CW will be presenting the new seasons of Legends of Tomorrow, Dynasty, In the Dark, Roswell New Mexico and Supergirl at mid-season. The latter has been postponed to mid-season due to the pregnancy of Melissa Benoist, the actress who plays Kara Danvers / Supergirl. Kung Fu and The Republic of Sarah, two recently commissioned new releases, will also be scheduled for mid-season.

No decision has yet been made on a possible renewal of Katy Keene. The fate of the potential spin-offs of Arrow and The 100 is also on hold, however, Mark Pedowitz, president of the network, said discussions were still on the table in order to see what they could do with these two projects.
