It’s official: Ted Lasso and his legendary optimism are back for a fourth season on Apple TV+! The platform confirmed the return of the award-winning series Ted Lasso and its star Jason Sudeikis in a press release.
In this fourth season, Ted and his team will learn to “leap before they look,” according to Jason Sudeikis, who co-created the series with Bill Lawrence. “As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap,’ in season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to leap before they look, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be,” he said. In other news, Jason Sudeikis confirmed on New Heights that Ted Lasso will now be coaching a women’s team. An announcement that confirms a theory popular among fans of the show after the Season 3 finale.
Season 4 will welcome Jack Burditt (Modern Family, 30 Rock) as an executive producer, while Deadline reports that Juno Temple, who plays Keeley, is in negotiations to once again co-star with Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brett Goldstein (Roy) and Jeremy Swift (Leslie).
