Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Will (Noah Schnapp) will soon be back on Netflix.
In a letter to Stranger Things fans, Matt and Ross Duffer, the series’ co-creators, revealed that Season 4 will be split into two “volumes.” The first part will be available on Netflix starting May 27, 2022 while the second part will be online on July 1, 2022. This decision to split the season in two is explained by the fact that the nine episodes will have a total duration twice as long as the previous seasons.
The Duffer brothers also say that the series will return for a final season 5 as they had imagined when Stranger Things was launched. However, this does not mean the end of the franchise as they add: “There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things: new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes.” Something to delight fans of this universe.
