Season 2 of Squid Game may have been less of a hit with Netflix subscribers, but the series created by Hwang Dong-hyuk remains one of the platform’s best-sellers, and its sequel will be particularly eagerly awaited given the cliffhanger ending to this season. If you’re one of those eager to find out what happens to Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) and his cohorts, rest assured that you only have a few months to wait.
Netflix has confirmed that Squid Game Season 3 will air starting on 27 June 2025. A release date that was leaked a few days earlier when the platform published a video on its YouTube channel before quickly deleting it.
In its press release, Netflix promises that Season 3 will push the boundaries of suspense and drama, and that this new salvo of episodes will keep viewers on the edge of their seats as the Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) plots his next move and the remaining players see their decisions lead to increasingly disastrous consequences with each new game.
