Sarah Drew will soon be starring in a new series. As we announced last May, the actress – best known for her role as April Kepner on Grey’s Anatomy – will star in Mistletoe Murders, and now we know when it will air on Hallmark+. The Hallmark Media Group streaming platform will launch all six episodes of Sarah Drew‘s new project on October 31, 2024.

Created by Ken Cuperus (Hudson & Rex) and based on the hit podcast of the same name, the series follows Emily Lane (Sarah Drew), a Christmas shop owner who investigates murders with Sam Wilner (Peter Mooney), a Fletcher’s Grove cop with a crush on Emily, and her daughter Violet (Sierra Marilyn Riley). On the surface, Emily is a perfectly charming, easygoing mystery lover, but she’s hiding a secret past that, if revealed, could destroy the new life she’s built for herself in Fletcher’s Grove.

The cast also includes Jean Yoon (Kim’s Convenience), Lara Amersey (Monster Warriors), Kylee Evans (Good Witch) and David Hewlett (Stargate: Atlantis). Guest stars include Tom Cavanagh (The Flash), Jake Epstein (The Hardy Boys) and Steven Lund.
