Good news for fans of the Korean series Hospital Playlist: its spin-off, Resident Playbook, will soon be available on Netflix, as revealed in the trailer below.
Written by Kim Song-hee, who also worked on Hospital Playlist, the series follows first-year OB/GYN residents at Yulje Medical Center as they navigate the chaos of their professional and personal lives while trying to become exceptional doctors. In a quote shared by Netlix, the Resident Playbook production team says: “Our drama portrays the universal experiences of young professionals who lack knowledge, skill, and confidence but grow through perseverance and support. We believe audiences, especially those navigating their own early careers, will deeply resonate with our characters’ journeys.”
The cast of this new medical drama includes Go Youn-jung (Moving, Alchemy of Souls), Shin Si-a, Kang You-seok (Black Knight, Light on Me), Han Ye-ji and Jung Joon-won (A Model Family, Hush).
The Resident Playbook series premieres on Netflix on April 12, 2025.
