One Tree Hill: Jana Kramer would like to play in the reboot

Will Jana Kramer, who played Alex on One Tree Hill, be back in the reboot developed by Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton? Although nothing has been finalized, the actress has made no secret of her desire to join the adventure.

Speaking to E! News, Jana Kramer confessed that she’s spoken to Sophia Bush about the possibility, saying, “they’re gonna get their footing of the show but I think they’re open to bringing back characters”. The actress, who admits to being a fan of reboots, adds, “I wanna know where they’re at, what they’ve been up to. So, I hope I get the opportunity, it sounds like there’s a window for that. I’m ready if it comes calling.”

E! News took advantage of their interview with Jana Kramer to ask her how she envisioned Alex in 2024. The actress responded, “though I didn’t go through some of the things she went through, I’ve had harder times, too. So, I want to believe that she’s done some healing work but she’s still who she is, she still causes a little bit of a stir”. Jana Kramer adds: “I think she’s such a good person. I have a feeling she’s still mischievous but that she means well in everything she does”.

More than 10 years after the end of One Tree Hill, the show’s appeal remains strong, and the cast continues to reunite regularly at conventions.
