The American media outlet adds that two of the show’s iconic actresses, Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton, will be involved as producers and will reprise their roles as Brooke Davis and Peyton Sawyer.

Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton will be joined by Jensen Ackles and Danneel Ackles. The latter, who also appeared on One Tree Hill, is said to be in talks to reprise her role as Rachel, according to Deadline.

As for the synopsis, few details have leaked out, but the American media report that the series is set 20 years in the future and will follow Brooke and Peyton as they are now mothers of teenagers facing similar challenges to those they faced when they were younger.
