While Wolf Entertainment has been developing hit shows for NBC and CBS for over 35 years, Dick Wolf‘s production company is teaming up with Prime Video on a brand new crime series called On Call.
The eight-episode series will follow a rookie cop and a seasoned policewoman on patrol in Long Beach, California. Brandon Larracuente (13 Reasons Why) will play the young rookie, Alex Diaz. Ambitious, he strives to maintain his optimism as he faces the challenges of being a police officer. Troian Bellisario (Pretty Little Liars) will play Traci Harmon, a veteran, hard-working but protective cop who struggles to find her place in the force while training the next generation of officers.
Described as “an adrenalized and visceral police drama”, On Call also stars Lori Loughlin (Full House), Rich Ting (Tulsa King) and Eriq La Salle (ER). The latter will also executive produce and direct.
The first season of On Call is expected to be available exclusively on Prime Video from 9 January 2025.
