Dexter sequel adds new faces to its cast! Steve Schirripa (The Sopranos, Blue Bloods) has officially joined the cast of Dexter: Resurrection as a recurring character in the role of Vinny, the greedy slumlord.
David Dastmalchian also joins the Clyde Phillips-directed series. The actor, who recently starred in Oppenheimer, will be one of many guest stars in Dexter: Resurrection, playing a character named Gareth.
These two actors will share the screen with Michael C. Hall – reprising his iconic role as Dexter Morgan – James Remar (Harry Morgan), David Zayas (Angel Batista) and Jack Alcott (Harrison Morgan). Also expected to join the cast of Dexter: Resurrection are Uma Thurman (Pulp Fiction), Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones), Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (The Chi), Kadia Saraf (Law & Order: SVU), Dominic Fumusa (Nurse Jackie), Emilia Suárez (Up Here), Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Eric Stonestreet (Modern Family).
The Dexter: Resurrection series is set to air on Paramount+ and Showtime in the summer of 2025, hoping to match the success of the prequel Dexter: Original Sin, which debuted in 2024 and became Showtime’s most-watched original series in 10 years.
