Andor: Disney+ unveils season 2 trailer

The critically and audience acclaimed series Andor will soon return to Disney+ for its second and final season. Scheduled to premiere on the streaming platform on 22 April 2025 in the US, Season 2 of the series starring Diego Luna has just been teased with an explosive first trailer.

In its press release, Disney states that in season 2 of Andor, the time has come for characters from different backgrounds to see “their relationships intensify as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound.” So every character, whether ordinary people, Imperial overlords, passionate revolutionaries, will face choices with dramatic consequences, and Tony Gilroy, creator of the series set in the Star Wars universe, says he’s “excited for audiences to see where we go in Season 2.”

Season 2 of Andor stars Stellan Skarsgård (Luthen Rael), Genevieve O’Reilly (Mon Mathma), Denise Gough (Dedra Mero), Kyle Soller (Syril Karn), Adria Arjona (Bix Caleen), Faye Marsay (Vel Sartha), Varada Sethu (Cinta Kaz), Elizabeth Dulau (Kleya Marki), Alan Tudyk (K-2SO), Ben Mendelsohn (Orson Krennic) and Forest Whitaker (Saw Gerrera).

Season 2 of Andor will consist of 12 episodes, divided into 4 chapters of 3 episodes each. Disney+ will offer subscribers one chapter per week from 23 April 2025.
