On March 22 and 23, 2025, Heartstopper fans gathered in France for the Dream It Fest Paris 2 event, a multi-fandom convention that welcomed Joe Locke, Tobie Donovan, and Jenny Walser, three stars of the Netflix series. While their panels were full of questions about the adaptation of Alice Oseman‘s work, Joe Locke was also asked about his recent experience in the Agatha All Along series.
During his answer, the actor made no secret of his enthusiasm for working with such renowned actresses as Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza, who played Agatha Harkness and Rio Vidal. Joe Locke also took the opportunity to show his affection for his character Billy Maximoff/Wiccan: “Billy is such an amazing character. He’s got so many layers, gray area… Is he good or is he bad?” It’s an ambiguity that the actor really enjoyed bringing to the screen, as you can see in the video below.
