As mid-season approaches, ABC has decided to reveal its schedule for 2025. This is an opportunity to see that we will have to be patient before we can discover the sequel to 9-1-1, Doctor Odyssey and Grey’s Anatomy. These three series will be absent from the ABC schedule until March 2025.
While this multi-month hiatus will be disappointing to many, it should be noted that the American network will use this time to air Will Trent and The Rookie, two series that were absent from its autumn schedule. These new seasons will be available from Tuesday 7 January 2025, when High Potential, one of ABC’s new series, will also return to the channel.
The following day, 8 January 2025, ABC will launch its new comedy Shifting Gears, starring Tim Allen (Last Man Standing) and Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls). This will be followed by a highly anticipated new episode of Abbott Elementary, a crossover with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
