As announced a few weeks ago, ABC’s fall schedule for the 2024-2025 season will be particularly light on TV series. Nevertheless, the American network will be able to count on three popular series (Greys’ Anatomy, 9-1-1, Abbott Elementary) as well as two new ones (Doctor Odyssey and High Potential). But when will these shows debut on ABC? Find out below.

ABC’s 2024-2025 season kicks off on Monday, September 9 with the broadcast of Monday Night Football. One week later, on Tuesday, September 17, the network will air the first episode of the 33rd season of Dancing With the Stars. A show that should serve as an excellent lead-in for the new series High Potential, the American adaptation of the French series HPI, which will air every Tuesday night.

Fans of Grey’s Anatomy and 9-1-1 will want to mark their calendars for Thursday, September 26, 2024. That night, ABC will air the first episode of Season 8 of 9-1-1 and the first episode of Season 21 of Grey’s Anatomy. Between these two programs, the American network will launch Doctor Odyssey, a medical drama starring Joshua Jackson that follows the new doctor of a luxury cruise ship as he and his team face unique medical crises miles from shore.

Finally, Abbott Elementary, ABC’s critically and audience acclaimed comedy since its launch, will return for its fourth season on the U.S. network beginning Wednesday, October 9, 2024. The Rookie, Will Trent and The Conners, meanwhile, will not air until midseason. Exact broadcast dates for these three series have not yet been announced.
