A week before The Land Con 4 convention dedicated to the series Outlander, Wevents Production, the organizer in charge of this event, had to announce the cancellation of Sophie Skelton for professional reasons.
According to the press release of the organizer, the actress who plays Brianna in the series has done everything to be able to attend the convention at least one day but without success. To replace her, Wevents Production announced the participation of Maria Doyle Kennedy who plays Jocasta Cameron from season 4 of Outlander. The actress will attend the Land Con 4 only on Sunday March 6, 2022 but will take part in the Saturday night party and the Sunday night cocktail.
Two other guests have also been announced at the convention: John Bell, a regular of the event, and Caitlin O’Ryan, for whom it will be a first in Paris. The actors playing Young Ian and Lizzie Wemyss are extra guests and will attend the event only on Saturday March 5, 2022.
