Let’s Love, the new comedy directed by Jamie Adams (It’s Christmas), which is currently being filmed in Wales, has a star-studded cast. According to Deadline, Martin Freeman (Sherlock), Malin Akerman (Billions), Josh Hutcherson (Hunger Games) and Jess Weixler (The Son) have joined the cast of the film, which was written by Jamie Adams in collaboration with his cast.
According to the American media outlet, they will play members of the film industry who are invited to Wales to attend a convention to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their hit film. Once there, however, they discover that the studio representative has got the date wrong. Disappointed, they then have the weekend to themselves and wander the Welsh countryside to their old filming locations in search of inspiration. They will have to confront their own anxieties, aspirations and broken relationships.
Martin Freeman will play Nigel, the screenwriter of the hit film, while Malin Akerman will play Andrea, the director. Josh Hutcherson and Jess Weixler will play Jackson and Jess, the actors who starred in the hit film.
Let’s Love is scheduled for post-production in 2025. No release date in cinemas or on a streaming platform has yet been announced.
