Disney+ continues to expand the cast of Descendants 5. After officially ordering a new film, the studio has now revealed the names of the new recruits joining the universe of its franchise centered on the children of iconic Disney heroes and villains. Kylie Cantrall and Malia Baker, who play Red and Chloe, will be joined by Joel Oulette (Trickster), Zavien Garrett (Blockbuster), Ryan McEwen (Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies) and Dayton Paradis.
Joel Oulette will play Robbie Hood, the son of Robin Hood, while Zavien Garrett will lend his features to Felix Facilier, descendant of the fearsome Dr. Facilier, the witch doctor from The Princess and the Frog. Ryan McEwen and Dayton Paradis will play the twins Squirmy and Squeaky Smee, sons of Captain Hook’s sidekick.
Descendants 5 will take place shortly after the events of the previous film and will explore the consequences of Red and Chloe’s time travel. The movie, which will begin filming soon, is expected to air on Disney+ and Disney Channel in 2026.
