Warner Bros. continues to promote Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the sequel to Tim Burton‘s cult 1988 film. In this new video, which perhaps reveals a little too much, we learn that Astrid (Jenna Ortega), daughter of Lydia (Winona Ryder), doesn’t believe in ghosts. A certainty that will soon be shattered after the young girl finds herself plunged into the world of the dead.
To help her daughter, Lydia will have to turn to the man who still haunts her 30 years later: Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton). But, as Lydia points out in the trailer, can she really trust the infamous prankster demon who still has more than one trick up his sleeve? The answer is in U.S. theaters on September 6, 2024.
The cast of the film, written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, also includes Catherine O’Hara, already in the cast of the first opus, as well as Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man), Justin Theroux (Mosquito Coast) and Monica Bellucci (Matrix).
